took pride in all his farming ventures. He especially loved his red and white

young children and while at Wauzeka, taught preschool, 2nd grade and

fan, loudly and proudly cheering them on.
Kari was a wonderful aunt to her sister, Lori, and brother-in-law, Ted's

community and school events. She was active in the Summer Rec program, the
Wauzeka-Steuben Booster Club and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a member
of Sacred Heart Catholic in Wauzeka.
Kari was a low maintenance gal. She loved walking barefoot, 80's music and a
good Bloody Mary. She loved floating in the pool with the kids on a hot summer
day, going out to eat on Friday night with her family ("my mother didn't cook on
Friday night and neither do I") and Sunday Packer parties with friends.

longer treatable, she faced death with the same determination. "We are going to
go home and live our life". Our lives have been enriched because Kari was here.

Still Missing You
They say there is a reason
They say that time will heal
But neither time nor reason
Will change the way we feel.
For no one knows the heartache
that lies behind our smiles,
No one knows how many times
we have broken down and cried.
We want to tell you something
so there won't be any doubt,
You're so wonderful to think of
but so hard to be without.
We cannot bring the old days back,
when we were all together
The family chain is broken now,
but memories live forever.
